OOS Renewal - The George Washington University  Program Description

The Graduate Certificate Program in Professional Teaching Standards is a five-course (15 credit) sequence of courses designed to serve teachers who want to refine and expand their skills to become model teachers. The coursework is designed to facilitate learning aligned with the standards of the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards (NBPTS) and associated national content organizations.The Graduate Certificate Program in Bilingual Special Education (18 credit) is in a rapidly growing field dedicated to understanding the needs of culturally and linguistically diverse students. Graduate study in Bilingual Special Education prepares teachers to respond to demographic changes and to accurately identify their students’ needs and adapt instruction accordingly.
